Announcement scheduled for 10:30am Eastern time. The word on the street is that it is a 10 year, $100 million deal. Verizon has a much, much higher profile than IZOD, so this should only mean good things for open wheel.

The big thing Verizon is going to bring is MARKETING which Indy Car SUCKS at right now.

I hope. I've worked with some of the IndyCar marketing people. They do the best they can with what they have, but they are being led by people who are out of touch.
